Global vehicle compatibility
Deep OEM parameter access, out of the box
AutoPi Mini supports OEM-specific data on listed electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. Compatibility varies by vehicle, model year and firmware; configuration may be required. The 30+ parameter catalogue is not universal support on every vehicle. Verify required signals for your exact vehicle and firmware before ordering.

Supported signals in published data
No signals are consistently reported as supported for this vehicle and model year. Contact us to confirm the data you need.
Supported means explicitly reported in the published records, not verified on your individual vehicle. Not reported means a false entry, not proven incompatibility. Unknown includes missing data, unlisted years and conflicting records.
// deployment region
Choose your regional hardware
Select EMEA, NA or APAC/LATAM in the shop. Confirm local carrier bands, SIM coverage and applicable approvals for the exact variant and deployment country; a vehicle data match does not establish regional suitability.

OEM signals for EV battery health, charging, HV cell voltages and ICE diagnostics vary by vehicle, year and firmware. The 30+ catalogue is not universal; configuration and required-signal verification may be needed.
Nano SIM pre-installed. Three regional variants cover EMEA, North America, and APAC/LATAM. Connects to AutoPi Cloud automatically on first plug-in.
GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and SBAS in one integrated module. A-GPS for fast cold-start under 35 s. Velocity accuracy < 0.1 m/s.
Ultra Deep Sleep draws <3 mA at 12 V. Built-in backup battery (170 mAh). Protects vehicle battery in always-on and fleet deployments.
Approval requirements depend on the hardware variant, destination market and installation. Request the applicable compliance documents and confirm any additional testing or certification for your deployment. Device approvals do not guarantee worldwide system or vehicle approval.
Manage devices remotely via AutoPi Cloud. Push OTA firmware updates, configure loggers, and stream data to your own cloud via REST API or MQTT.
Factory-fit by OEMs or plug-in aftermarket. Small enough for hidden installs under dashboards. OBD-II extension cable sold separately for hard-to-reach ports.
Built-in accelerometer for ignition detection, trip start/stop, movement source and harsh driving event detection on EVs that lack OBD ignition signals.
Compatibility tables
Dots mark reported support. Empty or unfilled cells mean not reported, not proven incompatibility. A dash in the end-year column means support from the start year through the published dataset year, 2026. Future model years require confirmation.

Use cases
Built for real-world deployments
From a single company car to thousands of vehicles across multiple markets - the AutoPi Mini adapts to your operation without added complexity.
Track mileage, GPS position, fuel level, speed and fault codes across an entire fleet. Set up automated alerts for DTC events and service intervals without touching any vehicle.
Monitor real-time battery charge, state of health, HV cell voltages and temperature ranges for electric vehicle fleets. Identify degradation early and optimise charging schedules based on live data.
Read engine diagnostics, coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel trim and DTC codes continuously. Surface fault codes the moment they appear and correlate them with vehicle usage data to predict failures before they happen.
Embed the AutoPi Mini as a factory-installed telematics unit. Its small 67 × 50 mm footprint fits easily behind dashboards. CE/E-Mark certifications cover global type approval - no additional certification work required per market.
Deploy the same device across EMEA, North America, and APAC/LATAM with region-specific modem variants. The pre-installed SIM and AutoPi Cloud manage connectivity automatically - no per-country SIM logistics required.
Log speed, RPM, acceleration and GPS position with trip-level granularity. Combine with the built-in 3-axis accelerometer for harsh braking and cornering detection. Feed telematics data to insurance or leasing scoring systems via REST API.
Frequently asked questions
The AutoPi Mini is a small telematics device, not bigger than a deck of cards. It's CAN bus ready and essentially plug-and-play. It connects to your car, giving you insights into your vehicle’s performance and health.
Mini provides GPS tracking and supported OBD-II and OEM telemetry through AutoPi Cloud. Signal availability depends on the vehicle and configuration. Check your required signals, then confirm the configuration during your proof of concept. Mini does not provide the custom Linux, Docker or raw CAN-FD capabilities of CM4 and Pro.
You plug the AutoPi Mini into your car’s OBD-II port. It sends data through the internet, which you can access via the AutoPi Cloud from your mobile, tablet, or computer.
The AutoPi Mini is perfect for fleet managers or companies that run multiple vehicles. It’s easy to install, manage, and improve operations with features like fuel management and GPS tracking.
Mini gives projects a compact starting point for supported vehicle telemetry without developing custom device software. Purchase your evaluation devices and agree a proof-of-concept scope with our engineers to validate the required data and integration.
An OBD-II port alone does not confirm support for every signal. Use the make, model and year checker to review available coverage. If your vehicle or required signal is not listed, request confirmation before ordering for that requirement.
It’s very easy to install. Just plug it into the OBD-II port in your car. No tools or professional help needed. There are step-by-step guides available to help you through the process.
The AutoPi Mini requires minimal maintenance. Just ensure it stays plugged in and occasionally check for software updates through the AutoPi Cloud.
